This painting speaks to the hidden pains of the corporate world—the harsh reality of living paycheck to paycheck. It unveils the silent suffering of trading passion for survival.

The bleeding eye is a powerful testament to the internal pain, compressed and contained, now finally exploding and revealing itself as the depression, sadness, and deep dissatisfaction of an unfulfilled life.

This piece is a call for deep reflection: Will you continue to live for money, or will you dare to chase your dreams? Will you survive, or will you thrive? It’s time to start anew, to listen to the voice inside you that knows you are meant for more. Take the chance. Break free. Because your dreams are waiting.

Description

I created a poem to go with the painting. This will be sold together and the poem will be hand written.

“Ranks of Pain”

In the towers of steel where shadows loom,

We climb the rungs through dust and gloom.

Faces masked with practiced grace,

In the silent race, we find our place.

The whispered dreams beneath bright lights,

Drown in long and sleepless nights.

Colleagues pass with hollow eyes,

Bound by truths that we disguise.

The pain that lingers, unconfessed,

In hearts that never find their rest.

We wear ambition like a chain,

In a world that glorifies the strain.

The laughter echoes, thin and cold,

As stories of success unfold.

Yet beneath the cheers lies a silent plea,

For a life beyond the corporate sea.

The door to freedom, tightly sealed,

In this race where power is our shield.

Hope awaits beyond thick walls of gray,

But fear keeps dreams at bay.

We march in line, a mournful parade,

In uniforms of dreams betrayed.

Holding onto fragile hope,

Yet tangled in the ropes we’ve made.

Oh, in this dance of endless chase,

May we find courage, find our grace.

To seek a life not forged in pain,

To turn from ranks, and break the chain.
